“After 20 years with Grant Thornton I have decided to venture out on my own. My business partner, Ian Bartes and I have created I and M Futureneer Advisors Pty Ltd (yes, CIPC always choose the last name that you suggest). I will be focusing on providing management advisory services in the tourism, hospitality & leisure industry, property industry (commercial, residential, retail & industrial), aviation industry and infrastructure. Services will include feasibility studies, economic impact assessments, strategy development, marketing strategies, financial projections, valuations, market research and public private partnership advisory. I will be able to provide these services anywhere but have extensive experience in sub Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
Ian will be focusing on Future Studies for any industry. His services will include strategy and product development.
Many will ask why I have taken this step in the current economic climate. The truth is that I believe in the potential of South Africa and the African continent. I believe that I live and work in a place with innovative and passionate people with abundant resources, waiting to be unlocked. I believe that I can make a difference and contribute to the development and growth of this amazing continent.”
